Wills & Trusts Department - Estate Preservation/Inheritrance Tax
Very few of our Estates pay Inheritance Tax or if they do the heirs generally have the means to pay the tax.
Very few of our clients have to sell their homes to pay Nursing Home fees.
How do we do it?
By listening to the client and advising the client on the lawful preventative actions which can be taken. Not all clients take our advice and there are some situations which are beyond remedial action. But in nearly every case we are able to improve the client's position if they want us to.
Some things are so obvious that they are easily overlooked by clients. For a start there is no god given right for governments to tax Parliament has to pass a law. Laws are in writing. Writing can have loopholes.
Secondly there is no obligation on the citizen to so arrange their affairs that the maximum amount of tax is payable. We've all seen blocked out windows on Georgian houses we have one or two ourselves. They were blocked out by our forefathers to avoid the Window Tax. So come and instruct us to help you arrange your affairs to maximum effect.
Telephone, write, fax or NOW and speak to one of the members of the Wills and Trust Department who will give you prompt and helpful advice.
